Changes in ministers’ responsibilities have been made to most of the Cabinet, with Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar now handling certain public assistance programmes, Homeland Security Minister Roger Alexander overseeing the prison system, and various frontline ministers’ responsibilities shifted to their colleagues.
The Geriatric Adolescent Partnership Programme (GAPP) formerly under the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs, has now moved to the Ministry of the People, Social Development and Family Services. |

Minister of the People, Social Development and Family Services Vandana Mohit has now been assigned responsibility for the Geriatric Adolescent Partnership Programme, which previously fell under the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs. |
