 Changes in ministers’ responsibilities have been made to most of the Cabinet, with Prime Minister Kamla   Persad-Bissessar now handling certain public assistance programmes , Homeland Security Minister Roger Alexander overseeing the prison system, and various frontline ministers’ responsibilities shifted to their colleagues. 
   
 The Geriatric Adolescent Partnership Programme (GAPP) formerly under the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs, has now moved to the Ministry of the People, Social Development and Family Services.

 ‘PM makes changes.. shifts around ministers’ portfolios’ 
 
 
 Prime Minister Kamla   Persad-Bissessar has shaken up her Cabinet — not by reshuffling her ministers, but by shifting responsibilities that fall under their purview. 
   
 Minister of the People, Social Development and Family Services Vandana   Mohit   has now been assigned responsibility for the Geriatric Adolescent Partnership Programme , which previously fell under the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs.
