T&T’s sprint quartet of Alexxe Henry, Shaniqua Bascombe, Sierra Joseph, and Janae De Gannes earned this country its 11th medal of the Junior Pan American Games in Asuncion, Paraguay last night, when they sprinted to the silver medal in the Women’s 4x100 metre final at the Athletic Stadium.

‘T&T women spikers whip Jamaica to book CAZOVA title shot’

T&T’s women’s volleyballers sealed a place in the final of the Caribbean Zonal Volleyball Association (CAZOVA) Senior Championships on Thursday with a 3-0 victory over regional powerhouse and defending champions Jamaica in the semifinal at the Kendal GL Isaacs National Gymnasium in New Providence, Nassau, Bahamas. The result means the women in red, white, and black will face Barbados in the final on Saturday at 5.30 pm.
