Mayaro youth footballers 'Shine On' 2-day training camp inspires talent

Physical Education and Sport Officer, Darron Charles, attended the BP sponsored Mayaro Youth Football Festival held under the banner of “Shine On”.

The two-day camp featured experienced coaches drilling aspiring footballers between the ages of six and 17 on aspects of the game such as ball control, dribbling, passing, tactical concepts, as well as physical conditioning and mental focus in various age categories.

The T&T Prison Service is gearing up to launch its first-ever Valiance 3x3 Inter-Station basketball Competition.

Valiance 3x3 is fully aligned with the FIBA 3x3 framework. This means every match contributes to T&T's official federation ranking, a critical factor for major global events.

Paul strikes Bolivian Games Gold and Silver medals

T&T Cyclist Nicholas Paul exhibited impressive sprinting and Strategic skills to seal the gold medal in the men's sprint at the Bolivian Games in Peru on Tuesday night.

He defeated Colombian sprint ace Kevin Quintero in two straight rides in the final of the match sprint for his title.

Paul also added a silver medal from a second- place finish in the keirin finals.
