Legal representatives for a team of elite riders, which comprises sprint ace Nicholas Paul, former Olympian Njisane Phillip, siblings Teniel and Akil Campbell, and Makaira Wallace, will go to court against the TT Cycling Federation, after a disagreement with the selection policy for riders for the upcoming Pan American Championships in Santiago, Chile, in February.

The Trinidad and Tobago's Bobsled team of Axel Browne, Xaverri Williams, Shakeel John, and De Aundre John began its Olympic preparation in earnest last week with medals in Vancouver Canada, pacing past the finish in positions fourth and fifth landed them extended podium medals awarded to fourth to sixth place finishers.

Teenage Trinidad and Tobago freediver Victoria Deonarine has broken the National women's freediving record twice in two days, and is preparing for another attempt that could extend her lead even further. Victoria completed a 36-meter constant weight bifins (CWTB) dive and a 40-meter (CWTB), surpassing the previous 35-metre national record  set in 2019 by Shivani Goberdhan of Hawaii.
