 Cyclist Makaira Wallace sprinted away with the bronze medal in the women's keirin event.

 Makaira Wallace lands keirin bronze at Bolivarian Games 
 
 
 Promising female cyclist Makaira Wallace earned Trinidad and Tobago's first piece of silverware at the Bolivarian Games in Ayacucho-Lima, Peru, on December 01, when she placed third in the women's keirin final. 
 In the six-woman field for the final, Cuadrado was again a tough opponent to overcome as she won gold ahead of Venezuela's Jalymar Rodriguez, with Wallace sprinting over the line to ensure her spot on the podium as she bagged bronze.

 Trinidad and Tobago's cycling phenom Nicholas Paul, got this country's first gold medal at the Bolivarian Games in Ayacucho-Lima, Peru, on December 02, when he topped the field in the men's sprint event at the Costa Verde Pan-American Complex, Lima.
