While giving his contributions in the Senate yesterday, he said that one programme from the 38 he went through, namely Fuse, costed $74,000 per student for 3 months. The upgrade which began in mid-2022, included the construction of new dormitories, the refurbishment of existing buildings, and the addition of a sick bay, laundromat, and general infrastructure improvements. His clarification came after reports circulated that 72 of the programme’s 114 employees will have their contracts ended on July 31. He also revealed that the CCC has not had an intake of students since January, while the Governement has been spending approximately $2.5 million monthly to keep the programme running.
